GPMBA Internship

International Internship

Venture capitalism in South Africa. Sustainable development in Uganda. Investment banking in Cambodia. Entrepreneurship in Costa Rica.

The Global Partners MBA Internship Program is the opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge, cross-cultural awareness and previous job skills to a full-time work experience that builds on and expands their international competencies.

Internship Description

The Global Partners MBA (GPMBA) Internship Program aims to provide students with a full-time working experience to build and expand their international competencies. The cornerstone of the program revolves around students’ performance in a required international internship related to their field of expertise, while delivering a value-added service for the hosting organization. It is expected that the GPMBA candidates will be able to synergize their four-continent classroom experiences and program themes with on-the-job situations to perform successfully in unchartered territory. All GPMBA students are proficient in a minimum of two languages.

The internship duration is four months, beginning on or about August 1 and ending on or about November 30. It is not unusual for an internship to develop into a full-time employment offer. All internships must be approved in advance by the Director of the Global Partners MBA Program.
